Worcester – “Making Our Mark,” an exhibition of work by six New England artists, will be on view from Saturday, April 7 through Sunday, April 29 at The Sprinkler Factory, 38 Harlow St., Worcester. Two of the artists, Janet Schwartz and Dave Kaphapper, are residents of Westborough.
A public reception will be held April 7, from 5- 8 p.m., with live music by jazz trio Too Human and light refreshments.
While the artists share a love of landscape and many of the same materials, their use of color, form, and markmaking is both distinctive and powerful. Through their art the artists may also tell a story, make a statement, or share a perspective that is uniquely their own. The result is an exhibition rich in contrast and connection.
The show will be open Saturdays and Sundays, from 1– 4 p.m. and by appointment. It is free admission. A closing reception will be held on Sunday, April 29, from 1- 4 p.m.
