Westborough – Westborough was well represented April 11 at Fenway Park prior to the start of the Boston Red Sox versus Toronto Blue Jays game. The VFW Post 9013 Color Guard presented the colors. Members included Ray Fitzpatrick, Commander (first Gulf War); William Harris, Senior Vice Commander, Cold War, first and second Gulf Wars; Ron Perry, former Quarter Master, second Gulf War; Jim Crispin, Cold War; and Staff Sergeant Bree Sutra, USAF security forces.

The Westborough High School Marching Band, under the direction of Evan Doyle, played the national anthem.

The band members were also able to stand at home plate and see some of the “behind the scenes” activities of Fenway Park and then enjoy the Red Sox’s 7 – 6 win over the Blue Jays.
