Westborough – Warren R. Keyes, 56, a lifelong resident of Westborough, died unexpectedly Monday April 18, 2011, at home. He was the beloved husband of Deborah T. ( Walden) Keyes.

Born in Worcester, the son of Ralph R. Keyes of Westborough and the late Ferne (Robinson) Keyes, he was a 1972 graduate of Westborough High School and a 1976 graduate of the University of Massachusetts at Amherst earning a bachelor's degree in accounting.

Mr. Keyes was employed as a plumber in the greater Westborough area. He was the chairman of the Westborough Conservation Commission and a member of the Lee Property Commission. He enjoyed spending time on Cape Cod, especially on his boat ” The Royal Flush,” and trips to Canada. He was also an avid hunter and fisherman and was dedicated to his entire family.

In addition to his wife and father, he is survived by his children, Jackie Pratt and her wife, Melissa, of Shrewsbury and Gregory W. Pratt and his wife, Crystal, of Shrewsbury; two brothers, Roger P. Keyes and his wife, Cheryl, of Westborough and David A. Keyes and his wife, Diane, of Auburn; three grandchildren, Maryjane, Liam and Timothy Pratt; and many nieces and nephews.

Calling hours were held April 22 at the Britton-Summers Funeral Home of Westborough, with funeral services held privately. Memorial donations may be made to WABA, PO Box 627, Westborough, MA 01581.
