Looking back on Marlborough and Hudson's 108-year tradition

Marlborough/Hudson - This year the Marlborough and Hudson High School football teams will meet for the 108th time Thanksgiving Day. Dating back to 1906, Marlborough-Hudson has lasted longer than any rivalry in the NFL, NHL and NBA, and is the fourth longest high school football rivalry in the state.

St. John's defeats Grafton in overtime to win LAX Division 2 title

Worcester - The top-seeded St. John's High School Pioneers faced the second-seeded Grafton High School Indians for the Massachusetts Boys Lacrosse Central Division 2 final June 8 at Commerce Field at General Foley Stadium in Worcester. The Pioneers got off to a quick start on a goal by Joshua Freilich (assisted by Andrew Smiley). St. John's led 5-1 after the first period but Grafton roared back to take an 8-6 lead at the end of the first half.

The six-foot sophomore and criminal justice major at UMass Lowell and Shrewsbury High School (SHS) graduate knows a thing or two about reaching heights.
