Westborough Community Band wraps up season Aug. 7

Westborough – Join in the fun and enjoyment of the Westborough Community Band for

the last two concerts of the season. The band will perform Sundays July 31 and Aug. 7, and from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Bay State Common Green. In case of inclement weather, the concert will be held at the Forbes Municipal Building auditorium.

Matthew Lefebvre is in his third season as conductor of the band and the 50 musicians range in age from middle school to adults.

“We have many who follow us as we had two concerts already this summer,” said Lefebvre. “This is Westborough’s community band and it has been an honor to conduct all the musicians.”

This is the third season for the Westborough Community Band, which, for the past two years, has received a grant through the Westborough Cultural Council. Don’t miss out on the last two concerts of the season.
