David French Orchestra Holiday Concert Dec. 2 at Boroughs YMCA
Westborough – David French Music Co. invited the community to the David French Orchestra (DFO) Holiday Concert, which will be held Friday, Dec.2, at 7 p.m., in the aerobics room at Boroughs YMCA, 4 Valente Dr., Westborough.
In 2010, a group of lesson students and David French Music staff gathered to rehearse and perform together to generate excitement and determine needs in forming a successful student orchestra. The first concert was held Dec. 10 of last year with over 40 participants and 100-plus attendees. As the group prepares for its second holiday concert, it invites the community to take part.
Admission is the concert is a non-perishable food item to benefit the Westborough Food Pantry.
