Northborough: Northborough Woman’s Club welcomes new members

The Northborough Woman’s club, organized in 1894, is entering its 119th season in 2012. Its purpose is to bring about genuine, well-directed cooperation; to promote a higher, broader, and better culture intellectually, morally, and socially; and to give scholarships for education and such projects as the community demands. The club meets on the second Tuesday of each month, except January, at 12:30 p.m., at the Northborough Senior center, 119 Bearfoot Rd., Northborough. It is a diverse group of women who have fun while working for the benefit of the community. New members are welcome.
