Letter to the editor re: bow hunting:

I have been quite upset with the attitude that Bow hunting is such a positive idea.  No one has told the story of untrained hunters who miss the mark.  For the past two years I have seen a turkey living with a long arrow stuck in his body. Obviously from an untrained hunter. How humane is it for an animal to live its short life with an arrow stuck in them? Your article is the second one I have seen about this topic supporting local towns positive stance on this method with little mention of how people are trained to kill humanly. Well after all we have to keep down that animal population.

How about we downside the hunter population and hire trained professionals to control the population?
