Westborough family requests donations for hurricane victims

Westborough – A Westborough family is spearheading a local effort to help those affected by the devastating impact of Hurricane Sandy.

Carolyn and Tim Barton are asking residents to consider donating goods that will be sent to an organization in New York City, Al’s Angels, to then be distributed to those in need. Items that are most needed include: canned goods, cases of water and juice, jackets, gloves, and blankets.

Items may be dropped off at the Bartons’ home, 2 Quail Hollow Road, Westborough, on Friday, Nov. 9, anytime between 7:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. If you are not able to do so within that time frame, you may email Tim at tsbarton99@gmail.com to make other arrangements.
