Westborough – In what might have been a preview for this season’s Central Mass. girls basketball final, the Holy Name Central Catholic Junior/Senior High School Napoleons faced off against Algonquin Regional High School (ARHS) Tomahawks Feb. 22 in Westborough. The game was the final match-up of the 11th annual Westborough Girls’ Basketball Invitational Tournament.

The Napoleons got out to an easy lead, up 29-18 at the end of the first half.  In the second half, the Tomahawks began to get aggressive on defense and cut Holy Name’s lead but ARHS was never able to catch the Napoleons, who ended up with the 50-34 victory.
