Shrewsbury – Naomi and Valene Ornelas participated in the free seed starting workshop sponsored by the Shrewsbury Garden Club. The workshop was held April 17 at the Shrewsbury Public Library. Twenty-five children learned the basics of starting seeds and will soon see their tomatoes, herbs, lettuce and flowers sprout.

The Garden Club has openings for junior members, ages 4-18, as well as adult members. Visit www.shrewsburygardenclub.org for more information.
