Free summer concerts begin July 11

Northborough large web iconNorthborough – The Northborough Community Affairs Committee summer concert series begins Thursday, July 11, from 6-8 p.m., at Ellsworth-McAfee Park. The concert will feature Hit the Bus, playing an eclectic mix of music from the “50s to today. Rain date is Sunday, July 14, from 4-6 p.m.

Upcoming concerts include: Beatles for?Sale, a Beatles tribute band, Thursday, July 25, 6-8 p.m., rain date Sunday, Aug. 4, 2-4 p.m.; Railroad House Band, a six-piece acoustic ensemble, Thursday, Aug. 8; and 3rd Man Factor, channeling bands such as the Grateful Dead, Led Zeppelin and the Dave Matthews Band, Thursday, Aug. 22, rain date Sunday, Aug. 25, 4-6 p.m.

At each concert, food will be available for purchase. Attendees are asked to bring a non-perishable canned item to each concert to donate to the Northborough Food Pantry.
