Region – The Corridor Nine Area Chamber of Commerce is in the final days of its annual food drive to benefit food pantries in the chamber’s core towns of Westborough, Northborough, Southborough, Shrewsbury and Grafton. As such, chamber officials are asking that local businesses and residents consider helping them by making donations up until Thursday, Dec. 12.

“We’re in the final stretch for this year’s food drive and our hope is to be able to provide each of our five food pantries with 2,000 items each,” Karen Chapman, the chamber’s vice president said. “We need 5,585 more food items to accomplish that goal!”

If you would like to make a donation directly, items can be dropped off at the Corridor Nine office, 30 Lyman St., Westborough or the Doubletree Hotel, 5400 Computer Drive, Westborough.  Cash donations or checks are also accepted.  Checks should be made payable to:  Corridor Nine Area Chamber of Commerce, 30 Lyman Street/P.O. Box 1555, Westborough, MA  01581.  Please indicate on the check that you are making a donation for the food drive.

The Doubletree Hotel will pick up if a business or resident has a substantial amount of donations. Contact the chamber office at 508-836-4444 or karenc@corridornine.org.
