Northborough seeking emergency shelter volunteers

Northborough-large-web-iconNorthborough – The Town of Northborough is seeking volunteers to help staff an Emergency Shelter, should the need arise due to power outages or extreme weather events.

Operating a shelter requires significant staff and resources.?During emergencies, existing public safety personnel and town staff are usually heavily burdened with other duties.?Having volunteers available to help staff a shelter is vitally important to its success.

To volunteer, send an email to shelter@town.northborough.ma.us or call Andy Dowd, 508-393-5001, or Jamie Terry, 508-393-5009.
