Grafton – At its June 21 meeting, the Grafton Board of Selectmen unanimously signed the lease with US Wireless that had been approved by voters at Town Meeting.
The lease is for a 10,000-square-foot lot at 104 Creeper Hill Road for construction of a facility. The lease is expected to realize almost $900,000 over 20 years.
In other business, the board unanimously approved a Farmer License to sell wine for Noel Powell, dba Aaronap Cellars, LLC, to serve wine at the Grafton Farmers Market. Aaronap is a small operation based in Westford and has been selling wine for three years.
In addition, Tracy Lavvorn was unanimously approved for full membership on the Planning Board and Sharon Carroll-Tidman as an associate member on the same board. Thomas P. Hansbury was approved as a seasonal part-time Landscaper for Nelson Park and Ann Marie Allia was also approved as a member of the Council on Aging.
