“Share Your Geek” Nov. 16 at the Shrewsbury Public LibraryShrewsbury – The public is invited to meet some library users who will be demonstrating what they “geek” (that is, what they are passionate about) Wednesday, Nov. 16, from noon to 8 p.m., at the Shrewsbury Public Library.

Some of these demonstrations will include crafts like knitting or embroidery, but model trains, woodworking and antique tools are also included. Teens will be present to talk about their favorite TV shows or the latest techniques in teen make-up artistry. How to make use of local cable TV and exploring the paranormal will be showcased, as well.

The idea of the event, and of other “GEEK the Library” events is that whatever you geek, whatever you'se passionate about, the public library has resources to support you.

Join the library, 609 Main St., and discover what your friends and neighbors are passionate about, share some of what excites you, learn how library resources can help you, and in the process, have a lot of fun. For more information, call 1-508-841-8531.
