Sanginario named Board President of Solutions at WorkWestborough – Kenneth Sanginario, principal of NorthStar Management Partners, in Westborough, was recently named Board President of Solutions at Work, a non-profit organization based in Cambridge whose mission is to break the cycle of poverty and homelessness by giving individuals the tools to become permanently self-reliant.

Sanginario replaces past President Alice Kidder, who will continue as a director after serving the organization as president for the past 12 years.

Sanginario has been a board member since early 2011 and, since then, has helped to strengthen the organization in a variety of areas including strategic planning, corporate outreach, and board development. He plans to continue to focus the organization on expanding its programs, and its impact on eliminating homelessness.

“When Ken joined Solutions at Work's Board of Directors last year, he brought fresh energy and new ideas to the organization and, since then, has continued to lead by example. We are excited to have Ken as the new board president, and look forward to pursuing new opportunities under his leadership,” said Solutions at Work Executive Director Lauren Corduck.

“I am very honored to be able to expand my involvement with such a worthy organization,” said Sanginario. “Solutions at Work helps thousands of children and adults each year to regain stability in their lives, and it is extremely gratifying to be part of that effort.”

Solutions at Work serves approximately 6,000 people annually who are living in poverty in eastern Massachusetts and southern New Hampshire. The agency works to help homeless people achieve self-sufficiency through unique programs that include a Children's Clothing Exchange, low-cost moving services, assistance with business attire, and computer donation center.
