Marlborough – Jana M. Dostal, 56, died unexpectedly Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2012 after being stricken ill at her home. She was the wife of Robert Perni.
Born in Manhattan, N.Y., the daughter of Jana N. (Pastuta) and the late Otto A. Dostal, she had lived in Marlborough for the last 11 years.
“She was an artist, with a huge heart who made our lives a brighter place. She lived to make others happy. Her light will glow in our hearts forever.”
Besides her husband and mother, she is survived by a sister, Nina D. Mettelman of Pelham Manor. N.Y.; her in-laws, Bruno and Annamaria Perni of Newton; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be private. The William R. Short & Son Funeral Home of Marlborough is assisting with arrangements.
