Shrewsbury – An elderly woman was killed today in her home at 32 F Shrewsbury Green and her elderly husband was arrested and charged with murder, according to Worcester District Attorney Joseph D. Early Jr.
Yuee Zhou was pronounced dead shortly after 4:30 p.m. by emergency medical technicians. She was found on the floor of a bedroom. The area around the body was soaked in blood and the flesh was missing from her left forearm. The state Office of the Chief Medical Examiner has accepted the case and will perform an autopsy.
Her husband, Jieming Liu, was found in the home with blood on his hands and face. He was brought to the Shrewsbury Police Department for questioning. He was later arrested and charged with murder. He will be arraigned tomorrow in Westborough District Court.
State Police Detectives assigned to the Worcester District Attorney’s Office and Shrewsbury Police Detectives are continuing the investigation.
