River's Edge Players holds Short Play Festival April 27 – 29

Hudson – The River's Edge Players, a program of the Arts Alliance, will present seven plays during the weekend of April 27, 28 and 29. Each play will be presented two times at Town Hall, Hudson, 78 Main St., over the three-day festival. The River's Edge Players is proud to present four published works, and three original productions.

Friday, April 27, at 7:30 p.m., the lineup of plays includes “Fog” by Jim Gordon and directed by Michael Walling of Hudson; “The Worker” by Walter Wykes and directed by Elizabeth Havenor of Marlborough; “Nothing to See Here,” written and directed by Mark Durrenberger of Hudson; “Occupy Walmart,” written and directed by Emily C.A. Snyder of Marlborough; and “Walk a Mile in My Stilettos,” written by Jen Finn and the River's Edge Players and directed by Jen Finn formerly of Marlborough.

Saturday, April 28, starting at 7:30 p.m., the lineup will include “The Actors Nightmare” by Christopher Durang and directed by Ted Frumkin of Westborough; “Ferris Wheel” by Mary Miller and directed by Barbara Worrest of Hudson; “Nothing to See Here,” written and directed by Mark Durrenberger of Hudson; “Occupy Walmart”; and “Walk a Mile in My Stilettos.”

Finally, Sunday, April 29, at 2 p.m., the lineup of plays will include “The Actors Nightmare,” “Ferris Wheel,” “Fog,” “The Worker,” and “Nothing to See Here.”

Tickets are $12 for adults and $10 for seniors and students. Tickets are also available at the door, by visiting www.upwitharts.org or by calling 978-562-1646. Doors open one half hour before the start of the show.
