Healthy Paws celebrates the holidays

Miss Tanya's students learn about fire safety

Westborough – The children at Miss Tanya's Nursery School in Westborough recently had a visit from Firefighter Keith of the Westborough Fire Department. They learned how to stay safe in case of a fire, and they got to climb aboard a fire truck.

Goldblatt joins Care Solutions, Inc.

Westborough – Lydia Goldblatt has joined Westborough-based home health company Care Solutions Inc. as a community outreach liaison.

Goldblatt mirrors the ideals and values of the company, according to Kim Sieurin, RN, the company's founder/president and CEO.

“We feel Lydia will really connect on a community level by getting us more involved in local organizations and activities,” said Sieurin. “Too often people don's know that there are these types of options available and with Lydia's assistance, we will be able to better share our services.”

Goldblatt has served on the Westborough Board of Selectmen, both as a board member and a stint as chair. She has also served on both the town's school and advisory finance committees. She was the Romney-Healy campaign's statewide volunteer coordinator in 2002 and 2003, and was Gov. Mitt Romney's chair of the civil service commission from 2004 – 2007.? She served as deputy state director of constituent services for Sen. Scott Brown from 2009 – 2012.

For Goldblatt, Care Solutions, Inc. offers a way for her to incorporate a love for her community with helping those in need of home health services.

Fay School admission open house

Southborough – The Fay School will be holding an admission open house on Sunday, Dec. 8, from 1 – 3:30 p.m., 25 Middle Road.
