Obit Leonard WarrenNorthborough – Leonard W. Warren passed away peacefully after a period of declining health. He was 88.

He leaves his devoted wife of 67 years, Annette (Eldredge) Warren; his loving children, Philip Warren and his wife Tammy of Kentucky, Bruce Warren and his wife Barbara of Northborough, and Kent Warren and his wife Karen of Franklin; his beloved grandchildren, Elizabeth “Beth” Warren-Roy and her husband Corey of Northborough, Lori Zacharias her husband Jack of Virginia, Amy McKeown and her husband Keith of Holliston, Adam Warren and his wife Patricia of Grafton, Krista Nelson of Worcester, and Alex Jones of Indiana; great-grandchildren, Isabella, Corey, Brooke, and Aubrey; and several nephews.

Born in Marlborough, son of the late William and Erma (Hill) Warren, he was a lifelong resident of Northborough. He proudly served his country in the Navy during WWII in the South Pacific Theater.

He was employed as a maintenance supervisor for Northborough Public Schools for 30 years until his retirement in 1991.

Len enjoyed camping with his grandchildren, gardening, and photography. For more than 10 years, heserved as an adult leader in Northborough’s scouting program with Troop 1.

Calling hours will be held Sunday, Dec. 28, from 2-5 p.m., in Hays Funeral Home, 56 Main St., Northborough. The funeral will be held Monday, Dec. 29, at 10 a.m., in the funeral home, with Deacon Richard Martino officiating. Burial with military honors will be in Howard Street Cemetery.
