Westborough girls’ basketball defeats Hudson

Hudson – The visiting Westborough High School Rangers girls’ basketball team defeated the Hudson High School Hawks 53-22 in a game played Jan. 16.

The Rangers held a commanding 22-4 lead at the end of the first quarter and never trailed during the game. Senior captain Julie Hutchinson had 13 points for the Rangers and sophomore Haley Brown scored 10. There were ten different Rangers players that scored during the game.

Courtney Braga was the top scorer for the Hawks with 7 points. Maclaine Campbell and Nadia Doherty each scored 6 points.

Westborough’s record improves to 3-6, while Hudson falls to 0-10 on the season.
