Westborough – Nashoba Regional High School’s high-powered offense was too much to handle for Midland Wachusett League opponent Westborough High School Dec. 16 as the Chieftains defeated the Rangers 67-45.
Carrying a 39-19 lead into halftime, Nashoba didn’t look back in the final two quarters of the game. Westborough could not stop the offensive surge of Nashoba, a team that did not have to look far for contributors. Sophomore Justin Peirce led the Chieftains with 19 points. Juniors Trevor Manyak and Andrew Snoddy also tallied double digits in the points column. Westborough senior Jason Hurkmans scored 14 points for the Rangers.
