Region – The Massachusetts Academy of Math and Science at Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI), 85 Prescott St., will hold information sessions Wednesday, Jan. 20, from 6:30-8:30 p.m.; Sunday, Jan. 24, from 1-3 p.m.; and Saturday, Jan. 30, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Prospective students will have the opportunity to learn more about the academy, meet faculty and students, and tour the facility.
Mass. Academy is a public school of excellence for academically accelerated 11th and 12th graders statewide. It is a fully funded, collaborative effort among the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, WPI, and Massachusetts high schools. The academy provides an educational environment that provides small classes, high expectations, active engagement and an opportunity to study at WPI for their senior year, tuition free.
