Obit-Flag_USE-THIS-ONE4Westborough – Robert F. Page Jr., 92, of Westborough, died Tuesday, Feb. 16, 2016 at his home, with his family by his side. Born in Boston, he was the son of the late Robert F. Page, Sr. and Julia V. (Orton) Page. Mr. Page and his wife, Marjorie (Mellyn) Page, would have celebrated their 61st wedding anniversary Saturday, Feb. 20.

Following his graduation from high school, he enlisted in the U.S. Army, where he was attached to the 416 Night Fighter Squadron, serving as an Air Operations Specialist in various combat zones in Europe until his discharge in 1945. He was later employed as a sales representative for several local companies, including National Lead Company of MA, where he worked for 38 years, and later the Gillette Corporation, retiring in 1985.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his son, Charles J. Page of Natick; his daughter, Cynthia Page and her partner Margaret Doyle of Upton; his sister, Doris Ramsdell of Hingham; his grandchildren, whom he loved dearly, John J. Tersoni and Catherine Page Tersoni, both of Upton; and his niece, Judith Hersey and her husband Peter of Hingham. He was also the brother of the late George C. Page.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, Feb. 20, at 11 a.m., at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, 27 Main St., Southborough. Burial will be held Monday, Feb. 22, at 10 a.m., at the National Cemetery of Bourne. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Slattery Funeral Home of Marlborough.
