    School: Marlborough High School
    Class: 2017
    Sport: Track
    Coach: Jim Rennie

What made you first get involved in track?

“My freshman year I did not make the basketball team, so I decided to do track because my friends were doing it.”

What events do you partake in?

“During indoor track, I partake in the 300m dash, shot put, and the 1600m relay. For outdoor track, I do high jump, triple jump, the 400m dash and the 1600m relay. My favorite event is the 1600m relay; because I love running the 400 and I get to do it with a team. Also it is an intense race and relays are fun.”

What is it like competing for Coach Rennie?

“Competing for him is great, as he always wants me to do my best at every meet. He is also very helpful and trains me. He works with me on my form and technique for the events I do. Coach Rennie also answers any questions I have, track-related or not.”

What has been your single greatest track memory so far?

“That would be running a 52-second 400 as a sophomore. As well as getting MVP two years in a row.”

What are your hobbies/interests outside of track?

“I like to hang out with friends, work out, watch movies, play sports, and listen to music.”

What is your favorite type of music, and artist?

“I like to listen to rap, rock, EDM, and pop. My favorite is rap though, and my favorite artist is ASAP Rocky.”

Have you considered any colleges yet?

“I have not committed to any school as of yet, but I would like to improve my times and jumping distances so I can go to the University of Florida or Virginia Tech.”

What is your favorite class in school?

“My favorite class is history. I love learning about past and current events.”

What type of legacy do you hope to leave behind at Marlborough High?

“I would like to break all of the sprinting and field and relay records at the school. I also want to inspire my younger teammates.”
