Casey E. Crossman, 29, of HudsonHudson – Casey “Chunks” E. Crossman, 29, of Hudson, passed away unexpectedly at home Saturday, Dec. 2, 2017. Casey is another casualty of the opioid epidemic. After struggling with addiction, he enjoyed several years of sobriety.

Chunks was a lifelong resident of Hudson and a graduate of Assabet Regional Technical High School, where he studied auto mechanics and won several achievement awards. Cars were Casey’s passion, he loved working as a mechanic and he spent much of his free time going to local auto shows and drifting events with his Dad and brother Rob. He also loved dogs, especially his boxer, “Tiger,” who he rescued many years ago.

Amongst his many survivors, Casey leaves behind his father and stepmother, Bob and Janice Crossman of Hudson; his mother and stepfather, Dolores K. (Ripp) and Cullen B. McWhite of South Carolina; a brother, Rob Crossman of Winchendon; his sister, Angela Mero and her husband Steven of Boylston; four stepbrothers, Ken Munroe and his wife Jess, Jared Munroe, Devin Munroe and his wife Erica, Jeremy Munroe, Ben McWhite; step-sister Chloe Green; Jose Pagan and his wife Michelle; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Friends and relatives are invited to a period of visitation Saturday, Dec. 9, from 1-3 p.m.,, immediately followed by a celebration of his life at 3 p.m. at TIGHE HAMILTON REGIONAL FUNERAL HOME, 50 Central St., Hudson. Burial will be private at a later time.
