Jessie M. MorinNorthborough – Jessie M. (Cadieux) Morin passed away after a short illness at Coleman House in Northborough September 17, 2018, at the age of 95. She was a loving wife, mother, “Nana” and “Great Nana.” She will be eternally missed by all who knew her.

Born Jan. 14, 1923 in Marlborough, she was one of seven daughters of the late George H. and Lillian L. (Burhoe) Cadieux. She graduated from Marlborough High School in 1941 and was a member of the National Honor Society.

During World War II she spent time living and working in Pasadena, Calif., where she was married June 14, 1943 to Earl F. Morin from Marlborough. They lived most of their married life in Northborough.

Jessie worked as a lunch lady at Peaslee Elementary School from 1963 to 1966. She was a secretary in the main office and then a secretary in the H2 Assistant Principal’s Office at Algonquin Regional High School from 1966 until her retirement in 1988. Following her retirement, she became the secretary for Trinity Church until the early 1990s.

Her interests included walking, reading, feeding and watching birds from her kitchen window, and spending time playing with her grandchildren and later with her great-grandchildren. She was a member of Trinity Church in Northborough for over 70 years and sang in the church choir for more than 50 years.

Jessie was married for over 57 years when her husband, Earl, passed away in 2001. She is survived by her children, Christine L. Mosher and her husband Alan of Westborough, Paul E. Morin and his wife Cindee of Northborough, and Susan C. Cowdrey and her husband Frank of Belchertown; her grandchildren, Heidi  Pampalone and her husband Peter, Barry Mosher, Carrie-Anne Clark and her husband John, Nicholas Cowdrey and his wife Francesca, Alyssa Carlin and her husband Shawn, and Jared Morin; and her great-grandchildren, Nicolo and Julia Pampalone, Mason Clark, Liam and Adelyn Cowdrey, and Dylan and Alivia Carlin.

Family and friends will honor Jessie’s memory at a memorial service held Saturday, Sept. 29, at 11 a.m., in the Trinity Church sanctuary, 23 Main St. Burial will be held at Howard Street Cemetery after the service. A reception will be held in the Trinity Church social hall after the burial.
