Hudson – Hudson High School won the MIAA Central Division 3 baseball championship in a against Bay Path High School, 3-2, in a game played June 15 at Worcester’s Tivnan Field.
Hudson struck first with two runs in the first inning. Bay Path tied the game in fifth with two runs of their own. Anthony Carlman’s RBI triple in the sixth inning put Hudson in the lead for good. Starting pitcher Tim Person struck out 13. Hudson advances to the state semifinals where they will face Taconic at 4 p.m. June 18 at
Westfield State.
