Shrewsbury – The Shrewsbury Garden Club is hosting a presentation by Dr. Robert Gegear, the founder of the Beecology Project, on Monday, March 9, at 7 p.m. at the Shrewsbury Public Library, 609 Main St.
Gegear is a member of the Department of Biology, UMASS Dartmouth. The project aims to fill the need for critical ecological information needed to develop effective conservation and restoration strategies by engaging citizen scientists. This project has been recognized and funded by the National Science Foundation.
