Region – Ava and Brielle, two Girl Scouts from Berlin Troop 75302, donated their time and talent cleaning up and refurbishing the playground at the First Federated Church in Hudson as their Silver Award Project. The award is the highest award given to a Cadette (sixth to eighth grades).

The girls spent over 50 hours each sanding, painting, replacing rotted woodwork and weeding to make the playground safer and inviting. They also added a baby swing, a new canopy and mulch.

They completed the project by adding a plaque and held a dedication ceremony with members of the church.
