NORTHBOROUGH – The Northborough Helping Hands Assoc. Inc. (NHHA) is gearing up for its 14th Backpack Drive, which will continue to benefit students in need in the Northborough public schools, grades K-12, for the 2021-2022 school year.
Last year, 120 backpacks and grade appropriate school supplies were donated.
NHHA’s projected fundraising goal for the Backpack Drive is $4,000, and donations will be accepted until May 31, 2021.
Sponsor a student
Help a student start the year out with the supplies they need by sponsoring a backpack. Sponsor an elementary school backpack for a $35 donation or a middle school/high school backpack for a $50 donation.
Donations can be made online. Follow the Backpack Drive link at www.northboroughhelpinghands.org. Donations can also be mailed to NHHA, Attn: Backpack Drive, P.O. Box 383, Northborough, MA 01532. All donations will be used 100% towards the effort.
NHHA is a recognized 501(c)(3) non-profit, volunteer run organization whose mission is to coordinate programs to assist those in need in the form of Thanksgiving food baskets, Christmas gifts, clothing, free medical equipment loans, and emergency aid for special services. Donations are tax deductible to the extent provided by law.
