Vincent PasqualeShrewsbury – Vincent “Teddy” Pasquale, 89, of Shrewsbury, passed away peacefully on Aug. 9, 2021, in Care One at Millbury surrounded by his loving family. His wife of 54 years, Barbara M. (Brewer) Pasquale, died on April 1, 2013.

Vincent is survived by his three sons, Anthony E. Pasquale and his wife Karen of Millbury, Michael V. Pasquale of Shrewsbury, and Steven M. Pasquale and his wife Julie of Shrewsbury; four grandchildren, Arielle Zadora of Killingly, Conn., Nathan Pasquale of Vail, Colo., and Nicholas and Alex Pasquale of Shrewsbury; a great-granddaughter, Phoebe; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Lorenzo DePasquale, and two sisters, Lucille Piccarelli and Mary Simone.

Vincent was born in Worcester, the son of the late Antonio and Lena (Ciani) Pasquale. He grew up in Worcester and joined the United States Army in 1952 and was honorably discharged in 1954, earning the rank of Staff sergeant.

Vincent worked as a plasterer who belonged to the Local 3 Bricklayers and Allied Craftsmen Union.

Vincent was a devoted Patriots fan; enjoyed gardening and looked forward to meeting up with his group of friends at the Shrewsbury Street McDonald’s where they would discuss “solving the problems of the World.” Vincent was a member of the Greenhill Golf Club and the Columbus Civic Association.

Services for Vincent will be held on Monday, Aug. 16, at 11 a.m., in Mercadante Funeral Home & Chapel, 370 Plantation St., Worcester. Burial will follow in Mountain View Cemetery, Shrewsbury. A period of calling hours will be held prior to the funeral service from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home.
