Grafton – Edward N. Mahoney, 86, passed away November 27, 2021 at St. Vincent Hospital following an illness.
He leaves his wife of 66 years, Aline (Bousquet) Mahoney, his children Karen Bertrand and her husband Russell, John Mahoney and his wife Maria, David Mahoney and his wife Kathleen, Roger Mahoney and his wife Linda and Paul Mahoney and his wife Beth, his grandchildren Chad Bertrand, Jacquelyn Shardlow, Patrick, Todd, Megan, Ryan, Brendan, Aaron, Nathan, Lea, Maya, Lauren, Erin and Shannon Mahoney, great-grandchildren Kayla Bergstrom, Kyle Shardlow, Ada, Louisa, Everly, Theodore and Alec Mahoney, his brothers Donald Mahoney and his wife Pat and Roy Mahoney and several nieces and nephews.
Edward was born February 4, 1935 in Sutton, MA, son of the late Florence (Chausse) and Edward Mahoney and his roots were on the family farm in Northbridge.
Edward was an Electrician by trade and worked for many years at Wyman Gordon in North Grafton.
He and his wife Aline traveled often and visited all of the original 48 states and always looked forward to trips with an RV group they were a part of for many years. Closer to home time with family meant the most to him.
All are welcome to gather with Edward’s family and friends Sunday December 5th from 4pm to 7pm at Roney Funeral Home 152 Worcester St. N. Grafton, MA 01536. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated for Edward Monday December 6th at 11:00am at St. James Church 89 Main St. S. Grafton, MA 01560. He will then be laid to rest at Fairview Cemetery in South Grafton.
