Teresa LaneNorthborough – Teresa Lane, a longtime resident of Northborough passed away peacefully Sunday evening, February 13, 2022. She was the loving wife of 57 years to Keith Lane until his own passing in 2011.

Teresa was born in Oldham, England, on April 4, 1932, one of seven children to the late Thomas and Ann Ellen (Wrigley) Jones. In 1967 her family immigrated to the United States. For most of her life she resided in the Westborough and Northborough area.

Teresa was a preschool teacher for numerous years at Country PreSchool in Shrewsbury prior to serving as a paraprofessional for Westborough’s Fales and Hastings elementary schools. She was a longtime communicant of Saint Bernadette Parish and enjoyed participating in the Northborough Senior Center’s many activities. She looked forward to tending her gardens, baking delicious treats for the neighbors, knitting and perfecting her cross-stitch. Teresa’s greatest joy was being with her beloved family and being involved in her grandchildren’s lives.

Surviving Teresa are her two children, Darren Lane and Debra Davison and her husband Ben. She also leaves her five grandchildren, Rachel Hatstat, Jennifer Palestini, Thomas Lane, Abigail and Benjamin Davison; three great-grandchildren, Lucas and Sadie Dacri and Miles Palestini; many nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, February 17 at St. Bernadette Parish, 266 Main Street, Northborough. Burial will follow in Howard Street Cemetery, Northborough. The family respectfully request that memorial donations be directed to the Dodge Park Rest Home, 101 Randolph Road, Worcester, MA 01606.
