Westborough – Kien Huy To, 90, of Westborough, passed away Thursday, March 10th at home surrounded by his loving family.
He leaves his wife of 67 years, Nga Hua; his children, Hoa To and his wife, Kiang Tran of Worcester, Thuong To and his wife, Fong To of New Jersey, Lan Truong and her husband, Quoc Truong of Worcester, Hue Tat and her husband, Binh Ly of Worcester, Binh To and his wife, Chau Chung of Worcester, Mai To and her husband, Minh Diep of Acton, and Jessica Lay and her husband, James Lay of Westborough; 16 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
He was born in the Chaoyang District of Shantou, Guangdong Province, China, the son of Duc To and Thi Lam. In 1937, Kien moved to Vietnam and emigrated to United States in 1986. While living in Vietnam, Kien owned and ran a small restaurant business with his wife and family for 30 years.
His funeral service will be on Thursday, March 17th beginning at 9:00 a.m. in O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue, Worcester. Prior to cremation in Rural Crematory, 180 Grove Street the funeral procession will pass by Kien’s home in Westborough. Calling hours are Wednesday, March 16th from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
