I am supporting John Samia in his re-election bid to the Shrewsbury Board of Selectmen. John leads with thoughtfulness, expertise and kindness, and has been critically important in promoting open communication with local government and strategic, long-term planning. He has been instrumental in the establishment and development of the 2030 Strategic Plan, and has reviewed closely, with an eye to implementation, the recommendations presented to the Board by the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Task Force. He listens well to the diverse needs of our community, and makes decisions in a transparent way that reflects his consideration of all viewpoints. He has worked incredibly hard for Shrewsbury, and I ask you to join me in voting a second term for John Samia on Tuesday, May 3rd!
