Worcester – Mary Alice (Corrieri) Smith, 88, of Worcester, formerly of Marlborough, died Sunday, July 17, 2022, at Knollwood Nursing Center in West Boylston. She was the daughter of the late Stephen J. and Mary V. (Kelley) Corrieri.
A licensed hairstylist and real estate agent, Mary Alice spent a majority of her life in Marlborough. She loved to dance, sew, golf and play the piano.
Mary Alice is survived by her daughter, Stephanie Smith Gibree and her husband Arthur of Boylston, and her sons, Richard C. Smith and his wife Sheila of Shrewsbury and Martin J. Smith of Westminster. She is also survived by her grandson, Arthur R. Gibree of Bremerton, WA.
Her family is very grateful to the staff and residents of the Elms Assisted Living for being so welcoming, she truly enjoyed living there. The family would also like to thank the staff of the Knollwood Rehabilitation Center who provided loving care each time she was there.
Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, July 27, 2022, from 10:00 – 11:00 AM at the Slattery Funeral Home, inc., 40 Pleasant St., Marlborough, MA 01752. A graveside service will follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Beech St., Marlborough, MA.
