Virginia G. PadulaMarlborough – Virginia G. (Kemp) Padula, 88 of Marlborough died on Sunday, September 25, 2022 at UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester.

Virginia was born in Advocate Harbour, N.S. Canada in 1933. The daughter of the late Edward and Merna (Morris) Kemp. She came to the United States at the age of 3. She married Pasquale “Pat” Padula in 1951. Over the years she worked in Hotel Management for the Best Western in Marlborough, she was the Maître D’ at Monticello’s and also worked as a cosmetologist.

She loved to travel with her husband Pat of 67 years, they travelled all over the world and enjoyed cruising on the Holland American Line. She was devoted to her family and friends.

She was predeceased by her husband in 2019.

Virginia is survived by her sons, Michael Padula and his partner Judy Zaniboni, Marcus Padula and his wife Donna all of Marlborough, granddaughter, Hannah and her husband Alex, great grandchildren, Graysen and Koda and nieces.

A Funeral will be held on Friday, October 7, 2022, at 11 a.m. in the Short & Rowe Funeral Home, 95 W. Main St., Marlborough MA. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Wilson, St., Marlborough.

A Calling Hour will be held prior to the service from 10-11 a.m.
