MARLBOROUGH – You can make a lot of things with LEGOs.

Cities, superheroes, submarines, race cars, stuff from your favorite movies or something created from your imagination.

LEGO enthusiasts from around New England came to the Royal Plaza Trade Center off Route 20 for Brick Fest Live on Oct. 22 and 23.

Visitors could view the latest creations from local exhibitors, and they could make their own creations with several interactive zones.

“It’s awesome,” said Cheryl McDonough of Dracut.

“We’re having a wonderful time,” said Michaela Kozaczka of Northborough, who was there with her 7-year-old son, Jay.

She said that Jay got to build his own LEGO car, and it won one of the derby races.

Brick Fest Live featured more than 1 million LEGO bricks in more than 70,000 square feet of space.

Some of those LEGOs were glow in the dark, and visitors got to create and display their builds under a tent for the best glowing effect.

For exhibitors, it was a chance to interact with fellow LEGO fans.

“It’s always fun to talk to other people,” said Jack Jautaikis, a member of the Providence Brick Exchange.

“I get to show off all my cool stuff,” said exhibitor Jim M., a co-founder of the exchange and a big fan of “Lord of the Rings” and pirate ships.
