Lorraine M. StucchiWorcester/Northborough – Lorraine M. Stucchi, beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother, passed away on January 7, 2023. She was the devoted wife of 58 years to Richard F. (Dick) Stucchi until his passing on the same day twelve years prior. They married on Valentine’s Day 1953.

Lorraine was born and raised in Ashland, MA, one of seven children to Bartholomew J. and Helen F. (Williams) Molloy. She married, became a homemaker, and later waitressed for many years at Helen’s and Prinsteiner’s in Hudson.

She and Dick were longtime residents of Hudson and later, Northborough’s Birchwood community. As a couple they enjoyed family and friends, skiing and cross-country skiing, and square dancing and round dancing at the Bay Path Barn. After Dick’s passing she relocated to the Briarwood Community in Worcester where she lived until her passing.

Surviving Lorraine are her children, Paul Stucchi and his wife Ailona, Christopher Stucchi and his wife Cyndi, Kathleen Hawthorne and her husband Kevin and Carol Molinari and her husband Tom; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; her sister Barbara Cotter and many nieces and nephews. Lorraine was preceded in death by her siblings Mary Booth, Irene Grass, Helen Rice, Margaret Dzindolet and John Molloy.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, January 12, from 4-6PM at Hays Funeral Home, 56 Main Street, Northborough, MA. Lorraine’s funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 on Friday, January 13 at Saint Rose of Lima Parish, 244 W. Main Street, Northborough, MA. Lorraine will then be laid to rest beside her beloved husband in Evergreen Cemetery, Marlborough.
