Lorinne Schlegel-IzquierdoGrafton – Lorinne Schlegel Izquierdo, 63 of Grafton, Massachusetts passed away on Monday, April 10, 2023, at Framingham Hospital in Framingham, Massachusetts.

Born Thursday, January 28, 1960 in Jersey City, New Jersey, Lorinne was the daughter of the late Charles and Claire Schlegel.

When Lorinne was an infant the family would settle in Old Bridge. Lorinne was a graduate of Madison High School. After high school she would further her education, attending William Patterson University, graduating with a degree in Education.

Lorinne would meet the love of her life Julio Izquierdo, and the couple would marry. They lived in Old Bridge, Lorinne worked at Tops appliance in Edison, and quickly became the first female sales managers there. She also worked as a Phlebotomist. Julio’s work would take them to Massachusetts, and they settled in Grafton. There two beautiful daughters would enter their lives and their family was complete. Lorinne would spend time working as a buying agent for a publishing company before beginning a career in the Grafton School District as a Special Education Para Professional.

Lorinne loved traveling especially the many family vacations. She enjoyed going to the beach whenever there was an opportunity. Lorinne liked having family and friends over to the family home and cooking for their many barbeques. A true friend, Lorinne was always there for any friends that was in need. Lorinne loved being with her family and pets the most. Being surrounded by those she loved, made her the happiest. Lorinne will by missed deeply, by all those blessed to have her in their lives.

Lorinne was predeceased by her parents, Charles and Claire Schlegel and by her sister Diane Schlegel.

Lorinne is survived by her beloved husband of 34 years, Julio, by her loving daughters, Jessica and Nicole, by her caring brother Charles Schlegel and his companion Jean Mann, by her caring mother in law Gladys Izquierdo, brothers in law, Waldemar and Wellington Izquierdo, sister in law Edith Moreno, and many nephews, nieces and godchildren.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, April 14, 2023, at Michael Hegarty & John Vincent Scalia Home For Funerals and Cremation Service, 3377 US Highway 9, Old Bridge, New Jersey.

A Funeral service will be at 9:30 AM on Saturday at St. Thomas the Apostle located at 1 St Thomas Plaza Old Bridge, New Jersey 08857.
