Grafton – John Gagne, 57, died peacefully in his home in Grafton, MA on June 12, 2023. He was the son of Raymond Gagne Sr. and Pauline Menoche Gagne.
He leaves his sisters, Linda Gagne of Bellingham, Lisa Gagne of Bellingham, and Cheryl Gagne of Westborough. He also leaves his brother Raymond Gagne Jr. and his wife Helen Muterperl of Natick along with his nieces Adrienne and Samantha Gagne.
John was born in Woonsocket, RI on January 24, 1966. He resided in Bellingham for 21 years and most recently lived in Grafton, MA for over 30 years. John had an infectious laugh and loved music and food. He enjoyed spending time with his housemates at Grafton House and his friends at his day program in Whitinsville.
John contracted viral encephalitis at age 8. John’s strength and determination was an inspiration to his friends, family, and caretakers.
Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, June 17 at 10.30am at Cartier’s Funeral Home, 151 South Main Street (RT 126) Bellingham, MA. Burial will follow at St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery, Bellingham. Visiting hours are on Saturday from 9.30am to 10.30am prior to the service.
