MARLBOROUGH – Interested in becoming a firefighter for the city of Marlborough?
The Fire Department will conduct an entrance exam on Saturday, Oct. 28, at Marlborough High School, 431 Bolton St.
Minimum requirements include:
- At least 19 years old at the time of appointment
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Pass medical and psychological examination
- Pass physical abilities test
- Complete full-time fire academy
Preferred qualifications:
- Marlborough residents, U.S. veterans and candidates who possess a college degree
- Firefighter I/II and/or EMT certifications are strongly encouraged to apply
