Shrewsbury – Shantiben Patel, 89, of Shrewsbury MA, passed away on Friday, November 10, 2023, at Westborough HealthCare in Westborough MA. She was beloved wife of late Mangaldas Patel whom she married in 1951 and who died in 1980.
Born on April 1, 1934, in Dingucha, India, she was the daughter of late Motidas and Gangaben Patel. She was the youngest of six siblings.
Shantiben was loving mother of Dasharathbhai Patel, Kanubhai Patel, Leelaben Patel and Kokilaben Patel. She was proud and adoring grandmother of Dipi Patel, Nitesh Patel, Chetna Patel, Nilesh Patel, Pinal Patel, and Alpesh Patel. Shantiben was dear grandmother of Vraj Patel, Krish Patel, Kiaan Patel, Om Patel, Ved Patel, Veer Patel and Viaan Patel. She had love for all her children.
Family and friends are cordially invited to attend a Hindu Visitation and Ritual Service on Wednesday November 15, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Chiampa Funeral Home, 5 Church Road, Shrewsbury. Final Prayer Service and Cremation will follow at 12:30 PM at Rural Cemetery & Crematory, 180 Grove Street, Worcester, MA.
