Joyce WeinerHudson – It is with a heavy heart that we bid farewell to Joyce (Wolman) Weiner, a vibrant soul of 81 years, who passed away on Wednesday, November 22, 2023, from Hudson, formerly of Holliston, MA.

Born in Boston in 1942 to Robert and Anna Wolman, Joyce’s journey through life was marked by a dedication to learning and a passion for making meaningful connections. She attended Jeremiah E. Burke High School, culminating in her graduation from Boston University.

Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Anna Wolman, as well as her sister Dena Levine. She leaves behind a legacy cherished by her daughter, Alyse (Weiner) Oliver, and son-in-law Robert of Shrewsbury, MA, alongside her son Jonathan Weiner. Her presence will forever be felt through her six grandchildren: David, Joshua, and Rachel Oliver, and Remi, Lila, and Nolan Chester-Weiner. In addition to her immediate family, Joyce is survived by cousins, nieces, and nephews who held a special place in her heart.

Throughout her life, Joyce’s impact resonated deeply with those around her. Her tenure as a dedicated teacher in Boston spanned a decade, after which she embarked on a 35-plus-year career in real estate, touching countless lives along the way.

To those who knew Joyce intimately, she was more than a remarkable professional. She was an avid Scrabble enthusiast, a devoted viewer and participant in Jeopardy, and a true bibliophile, finding solace and joy within the pages of a good book.

Joyce’s absence will be keenly felt by all who had the privilege of knowing her. In honor of her life and the cherished memories she leaves behind, relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service on Sunday, December 3, 2023, at 11 AM, at Stanetsky Memorial Chapel, 475 Washington Street Canton, MA. The burial will follow at Sharon Memorial Park, 40 Dedham Street in Sharon, MA.
