‘Thank you again for your coverage of local issues’

Letter to the Editor iconMany thanks to Evan Walsh for his excellent reporting on the January 4th Shrewsbury Planning Board meeting regarding the proposed warehouse development at 142 Clinton Street in Shrewsbury. The most important natural resource a town has is an adequate, potable water supply. For years water restrictions have been imposed on residents to conserve water use, yet the town is now considering a proposal that will seriously reduce the amount of water available to recharge the aquifer.

The next Planning Board meeting on February 8th will focus on aquifer protection and water issues. It is critical that concerned Shrewsbury residents attend.

Thank you again for your coverage of local issues.

Sincerely,

Scott E. Nolan
Shrewsbury
