Marlborough – Sandra F. (LaVie) Cabral died Friday April 22, 2011 at her home. Born in Gloucester, she was the daughter of the late John and Marjorie(Brown) LaVie and the wife of Mark Cabral of Marlborough.

Besides her husband, she is survived by her sons, M.Anthony Cabral of Salem and Stephen Cabral of Marlborough; her daughter, Denise Bairos of Shrewsbury; her sister, Yvonne Pisano and her husband, Vito, of Revere; her grandchildren, Angela Vautour and Jonathon Bairos; her great-grandchildren, Bryce and Gina Vautour; and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Cabral was a graduate of Cambridge High and Latin. A homemaker, she was active in the community as a former member of the Marlborough Junior Women's Club, the Colonial Garden Club of Marlborough, and the Marlborough Hospital Auxiliary. She also volunteered her services driving patients for the American Cancer Society. She was longtime member of the Immaculate Conception Parish, and loved country dancing.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday April 28, at 9 a.m., at the Immaculate Conception Church, 11 Prospect St., Marlborough. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery on Wilson Street. Visiting hours will be held Wednesday April 27, from 4 to 7 p.m., at the Slattery Funeral Home, Inc., 40 Pleasant St., Marlborough.
