Help for job seekers

Shrewsbury large web iconShrewsbury – The Work Initiative Network (WIN) hold meetings the second and fourth Wednesdays of every month from 6:30 – 8 p.m. at the Shrewsbury Public Library, 609 Main St. The meetings provide networking opportunities for people looking to make career transitions.

On Wednesday, June 26, Randall Warniers will talk on the topic, “Building a Job Search Toolbox.” A clean suit, a good resume, shined shoes, and a smile are no longer enough to compete in a wired world and a rapidly changing marketplace. Today’s new world of work demands an expanded set of job-search skills. This presentation by will describe the necessary skills a modern jobseeker needs to compete effectively and be employable
